Now its working fine after a little cleaning behind the dashboard and cluster. Now the 2005 cluster is playing up, I stripped the cluster down and cleaned it with lub oil , and the digital display came back after showing just lines -------- but the Pats/Immobiliser is stopping me turning the engine over.
1) From Fiesta's 12pin OEM display plug you connect "SWC1+" or "SMC" cable to "Key1" or "Key2" cable of the 16pin android display main plug. 2) Again From Fiesta's 12pin OEM display plug you bridge "SWC1-" or "SMC Ground" to "GND" (both cables are on the 12pin OEM display plug). 3) Make sure that the GND cable from Fiesta's 12pin OEM display
The camera has not been calibrated after a windshield replacement. Driving on tight roads or uneven roads. The Display and radio were blank. They took it back in and got several codes. They called the system FCDIM, Codes: U0100 ABS, U101 ABS, U0401 ABS, U3003 ABS, U0402, U257 BCM, U0257 IPC, U0101 PCM, U0155 RCM, U0253, RCM 2U0101 RFA, U3003 RFA. They told me the "modules" are not communicating and shutting the display down.
To calibrate and set the compass zone use the information display menu. See Information Displays (page 85).
